Branding & Logo | Website Strategy & Design
The Client
Shelter Capital is a newly launched real estate financing business in Boston, Massachusetts. It offers hard money loans to builders and a private network for real estate investors. While the company may be new, the team is experienced and driven.
Project Overview
The team came across numerous challenges during the development of their logo and website, leading them to work with Bev of The Design Wonder. We conducted market research, made sure their materials felt professional and sharp while showcasing their extensive knowledge of the real estate investment market, and set them up for success with an easy-to-update website that leaves room for growth.
Logo Creative Direction
With experience in marketing, Shelter Capital felt confident in creating its logo mark. However, they quickly realized this was outside the realm of their abilities and platforms that failed to deliver the file types they needed.
We revisited the logo to explore more creative designs while maintaining a monogram format. A secondary setup was created to give a more dynamic and modern vibe. And, of course, all needed file formats were delivered along with a branding guide to help the team successfully apply their brand to any and all materials moving forward.
Website Strategy And Design
As the Shelter Capital website needed to connect with both borrowers and investors, it was developed to be as straightforward and user-friendly as possible. This is reflected through the language, navigation, calls to action, and photography.
We wanted to showcase the borrowing process and the in-depth, proven tactics they use for investing. The imagery was carefully selected to represent completed properties and homes, properties still under construction, and both the city and suburbs of Massachusetts.
