The Client
After enduring several life-changing events, Kailtyn Lauf took the ultimate leap and decided to follow her dream—opening Rosebud & Jo, a baby boutique in Littleton, MA. She offers modern and stylish products for babies, kids, and moms, hosts an assortment of events for the community, and has holds popups at events across Massachusetts.
Project Overview
With no background in retail or marketing, Kaitlyn knew she would need the help of an expert to bring her dream to fruition. We started with her brand strategy and identity design. Once she felt confident in my process and deliverables, she invested in website design, signage, marketing materials, and social media management.
Logo Creative Direction
With Rosebud & Jo offering organic, sustainable, boutique products that you can’t find in most big box stores, we wanted a logo mark that felt warm, friendly, clean, and earthy. We chose a serif font that has curves, character, and a boho vibe.
The circular secondary mark is used on stickers, labels, social media, and as a stamp throughout the marketing materials.

Website Strategy And Design
With over 1,000 products offered online and in-store, the Rosebud & Jo website was created on the leading retail platform, Shopify. It was vital that Kaitlyn could use the cross-platform features, sell in more than one place at a time, and have a system easy for her to maintain.
With so many products offered, we carefully thought through the organization and categories, including the product photos, colors, and sizing. As the website has grown, we’ve added gift sets, seasonal categories, a holiday gift guide, and an events page with a calendar and event sign-ups.
The Shopify platform also hosts the Rosebud & Jo email marketing campaigns, gift wrapping options, and automatically sets up the taxes for each product.
